Impacter Solutions is a public health consulting firm committed to helping African governments, donors, and partners to accelerate progress in tackling malnutrition and hunger through improving nutrition and food systems policies and strategies development and implementation. We work towards optimizing nutrition and food systems policies, strategies, and data ecosystems using tools and frameworks powered by AI to improve decision-making, resource allocation, and efficiencies.

With its headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria, Impacter Solutions focuses more on creating impactful, evidence-based policies and strategies that are implementable with value for money. We operate with a lean and agile consulting approach and assemble tailor-made teams of experienced experts on a project-by-project basis.

Meet Our Founder/CEO

Dr Maryam Habib, MBBS, MSc PH, CMC, AMT

Dr. Maryam Habib is a licensed medical doctor and a seasoned public health nutrition and food systems specialist and a certified management consultant, She has over two decades of work experience in public health and management consulting. She is the visionary founder and CEO of Impacter Solutions and Impacter Academy, where she provides strategic direction, spearheads innovative, results-driven projects, and leads high-level strategic engagements with clients.

Dr. Habib holds a medical degree from the University of Jos, Nigeria, and an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, United Kingdom. She is a Certified Management Consultant, a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, and an accredited and certified management development trainer.

Her expertise spans policy design and development, implementation strategy, policy and regulatory landscape analyses, high-level advocacy, gender mainstreaming, multi-stakeholder and multi-sectoral coordination, and more. Dr. Habib has worked with national and subnational governments in Nigeria, as well as donor and international non-governmental organizations and global private consulting firms, where she led or supported large-scale public health and management development programs.

Her demonstrable leadership experience spans both Nigeria and Africa. While working with the government of Nigeria, she served at the directorate level in the Nutrition Department of the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. She also served as the focal person representing Nigeria at the Africa Task Force on Food and Nutrition (ATFFN) of the African Union Commission. She is the co-lead of the Pan-Africa Regional Network at the Global Institute for Food, Nutrition, and Health. She is the president of the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria (MWAN), FCT Chapter, leading over 300 female medical doctors in Abuja, Nigeria. She is the lead for the Women in Agrifood Systems Study in Nigeria and a member of the Nigeria National Food Systems Task Team.

Dr. Habib is a board member of several organizations and is passionate about women's empowerment, mentoring and leadership.
