Women & Co. Initiative Launch: Health, Leadership and Climate Resilience

Dr. Maryam Habib, Founder and CEO of Impacter Solutions, joined a group of women leaders to launch Women & Co., a new initiative from Pathfinder International in Nigeria.

On 28 October 2026, Dr. Maryam Habib joined other women leaders to launch the Women & Co. initiative of Pathfinder International in Nigeria. The launch was led by Amina Aminu Dorayi, Regional Portfolio Director for West and Central Africa at Pathfinder International.

The co-creation and launch sessions were both exploratory and insightful. The group focused on identifying key problems at the intersection of health, leadership, and climate resilience, and on the long-term solutions needed to address them.

Priorities identified during the sessions centered on maternal and child mortality, malnutrition, women’s limited access to finance, quality education and leadership, the impact of climate change on women and girls, and restrictive social norms.

One of the goals of the Women & Co. initiative is increased community resilience, clean energy, and growth in women-led climate-smart entrepreneurship and agriculture.

Impacter Solutions looks forward to continuing to engage in this initiative as we unfold targeted, innovative solutions built by women-led agrifood MSMEs.
