CLENSFe Confers ‘Matron’ Award on NHGSFP National Program Manager

The Commodity Leaders Empowerment Network for School Feeding honours Dr Princess Aderemi Adebowale for her role in sustaining the link between smallholder farmers and the National Home-Grown School Feeding Program.

The Commodity Leaders Empowerment Network for School Feeding (CLENSFe) conferred an award of ‘Matron’ of the network on the National Program Manager of Nigeria’s National Home-Grown School Feeding Program (NHGSFP), Dr Princess Aderemi Adebowale.

The commodity leaders presented the award to the NPM in recognition of her commitment to implementing the NHGSFP and her sustained partnership with the network.

CLENSFe Coordinator Jibrin Bukar stressed the network’s role in ensuring a prompt and sustained supply of food items directly from smallholder farmers into the school feeding program.

Other key stakeholders at the award ceremony included National Coordinator for the Nigeria Social Investment Program (NSIP) Prof Lawal Badamasi, National President of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) Kabir Ibrahim, and President of the Federation of Commodity Associations of Nigeria (FACAN) Sheriff Balogun, among others.

As a key partner, Impacter Solutions was also present at the award ceremony.
